Joseph Dallago

Joseph Dallago is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rain, the first licensed and largest region-born cryptocurrency exchange in the Middle East and North Africa. He began coding at age 13 and has spent more than a decade building technology companies, founding and exiting two startups before Rain. Joseph entered the crypto space in 2013 and has been closely involved in its evolution, particularly across the Middle East. Under his leadership, Rain secured the region’s first crypto license with the Central Bank of Bahrain in 2017 and expanded its regulatory footprint by obtaining an ADGM licence in 2023. Rain has since grown to more than one million sign-ups and raised 110 million USD from global investors including Coinbase, Kleiner Perkins, and Paradigm. Joseph remains focused on expanding financial access and driving responsible crypto adoption across the region.
