Arjun is widely recognized as one of the top early-stage venture
investors in Silicon Valley, as well as a successful founder and
operator.
He is also Co-Founder and Chairman of Tribe Capital, a top venture capital firm focused on capturing a perpetual edge in venture and crypto using artificial intelligence and data science. Some of his noteworthy investments include xAI, Rippling, Applied Intuition, Slack, Gusto, Swarm (Sold to SpaceX), Shiprocket and Carta. Arjun was previously a Partner at Social Capital where he led the Venture Team focusing on early stage investing in the consumer and enterprise sector.
Prior to his work in venture, Arjun co-founded and sold two successful software companies – LOLapps and MessageMe. LOLapps was acquired by 6waves to become the second largest game publisher on Facebook, and Arjun served as Chief Product Officer. His second company MessageMe was acquired by Yahoo, and Arjun subsequently joined Marissa Mayer’s executive team, where he led data and analytics teams and ran mobile and emerging products. He also served as a Board Observer on Alibaba.
Arjun has a long track record of seeding, incubating, and growing investments - including as Co-Founder at Termina.ai, an AI-powered analytics platform used by leading institutional investors to diligence private market investments.
He is also a Co-Founder at Kapital (AI powered software platform and bank), Ashvattha (platform for small molecule therapeutics), Foundation (humanoid robots), Ironfist (precision-targeted pharmaceutical treatment for tumors) and Nanopower Therapeutics (anti-inflammatory nanomedicine).
